It is well known that scent can transport us to places we've visited, and Tiggy Fiander likes to use scent to tap into these emotions. Her hand-blended scents are mainly based on her love of the old: think apothecary shops, old town libraries, spit 'n sawdust pubs, industrial factories, grocers on street corners, traditional bakeries, chemists on the high street.
Plane & Saw: Created especially for the Museum, this woody soap with a hint of spice conjures up the scent of the Russell furniture workshop.
Elijah’s Comfort: With a swirl of red clay in memory of Elijah Comfort, potter at Winchcombe in the 1920s. Citrus top notes of sweet Sicilian orange, freshly-harvested yang ylang blooms, lemongrass sticks, and geranium leaves with a soft heart of old English tea roses.
Pink Sugar: Cotton candy, lemon drops. pink fondant icing, raspberry jam nailed down with a glug of patchouli, and a smattering of musk.
Wild Fig: Fresh, earthy green fig, blonde woods, nuts and earth, currants, amber and a hint of coconut.
